We've all done it - you get really excited or disappointed by a spoiler for your subscription box only to have the opposite reaction when your box arrives! In this blog series I explore my reaction to my Ipsy spoilers compared to when it shows up. My March Ipsy Spoilers are out! Read more to find out if these spoilers have me excited or less than thrilled for this month's Ipsy I am very excited for this month's bag. As you can see, it comes with markers so you can personalize the bag using your own creativity! This bag is so cool I may branch out and use different markers to make a really exciting bag. I love that everyone will have their own unique bag if they take the initiative to decorate it. Even if you don't, I think the bag looks pretty cool on it's own. I can't wait to get it! My first spoiler is Baked Highlighter in Prosecco, Bellini or Soda Pop by Dirty Little Secret. This one makes me nervous because of the color variations. I think the Prosecco and Bellini look beautiful, but Soda Pop looks a little too bronze for me. I hate brown highlighters - they just muddle my whole look up. I've got my fingers crossed that I will get one of the others, but knowing my luck, I'll probably get the one I hate. DLS claims that this baked formula is known to last much longer than cream formulas while maintaining high pigmentation. They also claim that it is perfect for any skin tone and glows without being glossy. I'm pretty excited to give this a try as long as I don't get the soda pop shade. The next spoiler from my March Ipsy is Balm Dotcom by Glossier in Original, Rose, Mint or Coconut. Fun fact - I hate Rose scented and/or flavored things. This will be even funnier when you see the next item in my box. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get anything but rose because this product seems awesome. Glossier touts this balm as a hydrating, long-lasting, multipurpose lip balm and skin salve. It's packed with antioxidants and natural emollients to nourish and repair dry, chafed skin with a dense, waxy texture that stays in place to seal in moisture wherever it goes! I love a multipurpose balm, so I can't wait to get this one. I have also always liked Glossier products, so I doubt this will let me down. The next spoiler from my March Ipsy is 1000 Roses Body Lotion by Andalou Naturals. As stated earlier, I hate rose scented/flavored things. They make me feel like the oldest of old women. Now, to be fair - Andalou's product description doesn't say a word about it smelling like roses, so maybe I will luck out. Andalou promotes this as an ultimate skin food that blends emollient rich rosehip and argan oils with shea and cocoa butters to nourish, smooth, and soften the appearance of dry skin. It also contains soothing rosewater, superfruit antioxidants and ultra-hydrating aloe vera help protect and uplift skin's moisture barrier for a luxurious, all-over body treatment. I'm very curious to find out how this one smells. I hope it isn't overwhelmingly rosey because this sounds like an amazing body lotion. The next spoiler is Tarte Cosmetiic's Sex Kitten Eyeliner. I am always looking for a great eyeliner pencil for my waterline, and this just might be the pencil of my dreams. Tarte describes this as a Waterproof, smudgeproof gel eyeliner formulated with natural waxes. It also has a soft, comfort-glide tip applies with the ease of a pencil, without pulling or skipping, for a 12-hour, run-resistant finish. I NEED this eyeliner if all of these things are true. I am very excited to let you guys know if this is as good as Tarte says it is. I love getting eyebrow pencils in my Ipsy and the Rodial Glamobrow in Dark Ash Brown sounds amazing! Rodial describes this pencil as having an ultra fine, retractable tip, this makes for easy shaping and filling in of brows for buildable definition and a polished finish. The soft, cream-gel texture mimics the look of brow hair and is smear-proof with long-wearing hold, I am a little worried about the "soft cream-gel" texture. I prefer a very very dry eyebrow pencil, but they claim this is smear-proof so I am still excited to give this a try! Overall, I am very excited for my March Ipsy. While the lotion might not be up my alley, it might surprise me. I can't wait to let you guys know how it is when it shows up!
