It’s here! My November Boxycharm has arrived! Don’t worry - the Tarte mascara I wanted so much will be in December’s Box! At first glance it looks pretty great but will it live up to its Spoiler? This month’s theme is sweater weather, and they kinda hit the nail on the head with this one. It’s a very warm and cozy assortment of Items that seem very casual to me. This is one of the cuter themes Boxycharm has given us this year! First, was the most hyped item to come from this box. This is the Winkylux Kitten Palette with an MSRP OF $25. This palette is beautiful but upon first inspection there seems to be A LOT of fall out. Stay tuned, as I will be writing a separate post to see if the fallout struggle is real. Initial thoughts, This gold is very shook inducing. It looks like it will have a beautiful luster and i can’t wait to try it. Okay, I kinda goofed on this one and didn’t realize these would be pint sized. The Luxie Beauty Quad Eye Travel Set with an MSRP of $32 has left me a little dissapointed because I am not a fan of short brushes, sometimes they can lose a little artistry and blendability. With that said they are still Luxie and they are still fabulous. I’m sure these will be great for those away from home quick makeup type sessions. This bottle is HUGE! The Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray with an MSRP of $31 should last a pretty long time. In the Spoiler I worried about the illuminating aspect, but upon initial inspection it actually comes out very pretty. There is a chance this may not make my pores look so big. This is a gorgeous color from Laqa and Co. for their Cloud Lips line called Sunshower with an MSRP of $17. Because it is so bold I will probably give it a try. Unfortunately, I can tell from my swatch already, this isn’t very pigmented and it doesn’t dry down. We will see how it wears! I am actually really excited to try this one! The KNC Beauty Collagen Lip Masks with an MSRP of $15 came with enough to actually find out if there is a benefit from this product over time. I’ve been having issues with dry ass lips lately so hopefully this will help.
I am very satisfied with the $120 value and $21.00 cost of this box! I am also happy with the theme and variety of items. My only true disappointments are the lip stick and the length of the brushes and those two developments aren’t the end of the world. Overall, I am very happy with this Boxycharm. We will see if I still feel that way after trying everything! Sign up for Boxycharm if you’re looking to get the best bang out of your buck and you’re irritated by tiny samples!
